Bro i searched for the game on play store just for fun and i found it. I downloaded it and it was very different. The game itself is very different from what the in-game images show. I mean, there are the images of your game but it's another game. I don't know if it bothers you. It's called almost like your game "alternate watch creepy evil"
The only thing I hate about the new update is REMOVING THE FLASHLIGHT WHEN NOT ON DARK MODE. It was a fun thing to have access to because of how dark some corners of the map are and how hard it is to see most changes. It'd be nice to have that little thing back even if it may have been a bug
Okay, am I doing something wrong? Literally watched something get displaced, reported, left that room, said Anomaly: Not Found. Went back, did it again, stayed in the room and it Removed it. Has occurred on several other occasions to include reporting a radio that I watched turn on as "Electrical:" but it was Not Found. Surely a skill issue?
Otherwise, thank you this game is phenomenal!
Edit: yeah tested multiple times where things will simply not report, such as a blatant imagery anomaly
I tried using auto detect but i was curious but i'm not sure if this is whats causing my problem but i also had dark mode on also now my game doesn't even work or open it just comes up as an error making it fully impossible for gameplay, i tried reinstalling the entire thing but it did not fix my issue both rar and zip are broken
I'm trying to play this game but I keep getting the error "The following components are required to run this program: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime". I think I'm installing the correct component but the error keeps coming up. Has anyone had this error and what did you do to fix it?
A friend and I played through this tonight, a total of 6 attempts to beat the night, and I have some thoughts on the game.
It feels like this game is far more aggressive with spawning anomalies as well as has a lower amount active to cause a fail state, I don't know if that feeling is accurate or not, but comparing it to Observation duty, it feels far more aggressive and less enjoyable as a result.
As an additional note, I am unsure if this was a bug, but multiple times I would report a movement, have it pass, and the object I noticed has not moved. Is this a bug, or does the game allow multiple anomalies of the same category in the same camera? If so, I would suggest changing that to only let one of each type be active in any camera at a time. Otherwise, the already cluttered cameras become even more challenging to decern to the point of frustration.
To answer your last query, I had the same issue where one location would have two items displaced/or two mimcs but reporting only removed one of them. It caught me out a few times before I figured it out.
If intentional, I genuinely believe it should be changed to either correct ALL anomalies of the reported type, or only allow one anomaly of that type to be active, it promotes negative learning for the games rooms and overall worse experience.
I'm having such a blast playing this. Would love to see this fleshed out further when you have the time to dedicate to it - but regardless, really fun as-is.
I keep getting the "UE-AlternateWatch Game has crashed and will close." every time I try to launch the game. LowLevelFatalerror and blah blah blah. I hope if somebody could help me with my issues, that'd be awesome if so. Thanks for reading this.

I had this issue as well, you need to install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable, despite what the pop up says. I installed the X64 Redistributable and then got the game working. It's on the Microsoft website: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=ms...

i cant download the game. it says fatal error. And it might be the wrong version of the game but i downloaded both zip and rar files. i need help

Amazing game. Gave me a few scares for sure! It took me quite a few tries to beat it because the changes are so subtle.
