for those of you with the direct x update, after doing some research you need to update your drivers. Simply update by following these steps.
Windows key + I -> Update & security -> Windows Update -> Check for updates.
IF your drivers are up to date, I'm sorry.. Your driver is so prehistoric that the most recent update for them is OUTDATED which means that you probably need a new computer :(
Sadly I'm having this issue too because my laptop is about 8-10 years old from what I know.. I got it for free so I'm clueless.
My request to the creator is to make a port for DirectX12 because that is the one my laptop runs so im assuming its the older more common type
Amazing game, incredibly well done, I liked this more than I'm on Observation Duty, although I haven't played it, only watched it... Mainly because I love the Mandela Catalogue, very creepy... Had very few problems in identifying anomalies (First few rounds were rough but I got the hang of it.) The "Bad Decision Mark" is a very good touch, I immediately knew where to look for it having watched the Mandela Catalogue, can't wait to see what you do next!
I tried getting this game, I did everything the tutorial told me to do then I got a thing saying I needed to get DirectX Runanytime (smth like that). I downloaded that and it still wont work. I have a HP commuter but it should work since I got it downloaded. If anyone knows what to do please help I'm getting frustrated. I have been trying ever since it came out.
When i click the download botton it's just showing the pop up "thanks for downloading" but it's doesn't start the download. I also don't have a pop up blocker. Anyone know how to fix this?
This game was SO FUN I could not stop playing until I finished it, and the story was so cool. The jump scares with multiple figure anomalies were very scary.
For who can't run AlternateWatch.exe at wine/proton in Linux, just open AlternateWatch/Binaries/Win64/AlternateWatch-Win64-Shipping.exe instead. It's working very fine on my local after I found this way.

Whenever I try to run the game I get a "LowFatalError". I checked my driver and software and everything was up to date and I had unreal engine installed. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
my second video, on the game, I finally beat it, This game is great and really surprises me with its quality. I never saw a tulpa or a priest though, so idk if those are in the game or I just got lucky? Regardless it was still a really good game and I'd love to play it again if you add things. If you do add more stuff and you remember please let me know with a message I'll happily make another video on the game.
I have a couple of suggestions that personally think would like. I think that at the end of the game it should tell you what anomalies you missed. Also I have gamemode ideas. I think there should be a multi-player option that has more rooms and more anomalies to even it out. The other gamemode idea is also a muliplayer but the players are against eachother this time. 1 player finds anomalies, and the other chooses them. There should obvioulsy be a cooldown to choosing anomolies. Keep in mind these are just ideas. And 10/10 Game!
This is a great game , its very similar to I'm on observation duty yet with a twist , its hard but not over bearing at all and can be replayed with dark mode, even if theirs one map its still a fun and yet spin chilling game !! one of my favorites on itch!
I'm excited to see the updates for this game and what they can add to it.

extract the file
from its zip then click on the application then press extract to downloads then you go into the extracted folder then go onto it

This game has everything to be a mobile game
it says requires directx runtime but i already have this and i redownloaded it the game + directx and it still wont work
download xinput1_3.dll (64bit version) ,then put it into C:\Windows\System32
